General Email Settings Configuration for Email clients and Mobile Devices

You may refer to this tutorial as a guideline to configure your e-mail client or mobile device to send & retrieve the e-mails using your hosting server.

To set up an e-mail client for an e-mail account created in cPanel, please use the following configurations: 


Username: Your Full E-mail Address 
Password: The password set in cPanel during e-mail account set-up 
Incoming server type: IMAP or POP3 


For IMAP Settings:

Incoming server (IMAP): 993 port for SSL, 143 for TLS. 
Outgoing server (SMTP): 465 port for SSL, 26/587 port for TLS. 
Incoming server/outgoing server name: the name of the server your hosting account is located on.

It can be obtained either in the welcome email in the section New 
Account Info, or following the guide here.

Outgoing server authentication should be switched on, SPA (secure password authentication) must be disabled.



For POP3 Settings:

Incoming server (POP3): 995 port for SSL, 110 for TLS. 
Outgoing server (SMTP): 465 port for SSL, 26/587 port for TLS. 
Incoming server/outgoing server name: the name of the server your hosting account is located on. 

It can be obtained either in the welcome email in the section New 
Account Info, or following the guide here.

Outgoing server authentication should be switched on, SPA (secure password authentication) must be disabled.
